"Tsarevna the Frog" is an illustrated reinterpretation of the famous Russian fairy tale. The project stands out for its unique artistic technique, combining paper-cut and embroidered characters with backgrounds created using ink wash.
The objectives of this projects were to create a distinct visual aesthetic by using mixed materials for a rich and textured visual experience and to respect the essence of the traditional tale while adding a modern touch through design and artistic techniques.
Creative Process
